Carlos writes articles as a contributing writer for Creative Loafing and Examiner.com in addition to his food blog Carlos Eats. Carlos Eats has been called one of the coolest emerging sites in the area by 83 Degrees Media and the best Tampa food blog by Re/Creating Tampa.
In addition, Carlos Eats is now honored to be featured on TBO.com’s Food section. Carlos Eats was voted Creative Loafing Best of the Bay for 2013 Reader’s Choice. Carlos Eats was also voted Best Local Blog for Tampa’s A-List 2014.
In 2013, Carlos Eats helped organize the World’s Largest Food Truck Rally EVER at the Florida State Fairgrounds which brought over 100 food trucks to the festival. Over 30,000 people attended the event and Carlos was lucky enough to ride atop the Tropiccool double decker food truck from Downtown Tampa all the way to the fairgrounds in a historic food truck parade.
