The World’s Largest Food Truck Rally EVER is upon us. Lots of planning and effort has gone into this event and it will all come to light tomorrow on August 31st, 2013 at the Florida State Fairgrounds from 11AM-8PM. FREE Admission – you only pay for the food at the food trucks you choose to eat at. Parking will cost $6 – make sure to bring lots of hungry friends! Enjoy live music all day long. There will be over 90 food trucks from around the United States present at this event that has been planned by Generation Food Truck, Truckspotting, and Carlos Eats. Media partners include Tampa Tribune and 98Rock.
A 2-mile parade will occur prior to the event and kickoff at 9:15AM with remarks starting at 8:45AM from Encore Tampa (1210 East Ray Charles Blvd., Tampa) - a historical center of Tampa that is the birthplace of the lemon meringue cake pie and formally hosted music talent ranging from Ella Fitzgerald to Ray Charles. This parade aims to break the world record for most food trucks in a parade. City of Tampa Mayor Bob Buckhorn will give remarks at this landmark event.
